Welcome! I'm Mancini, the owner and trainer behind Mind Your Manners Canine Training, proudly serving Lakeland and Central Florida since 2004.

My passion for dog training began long before I opened my own business. I spent years working with Southeastern Guide Dogs, where I developed specialized skills training guide dogs to assist individuals with visual impairments.

During my career, I also became one of a small number of trainers with experience in the highly specialized field of Wheelchair Guide Dog Training — teaching dogs to guide individuals who are visually impaired and also use wheelchairs.

That experience taught me something important:

Every dog is different, and successful training starts with understanding the dog in front of you.

In 2004, I founded Mind Your Manners Canine Training with one goal: to bring professional, real-world dog training to everyday families.

Today, after more than 21 years in business and over 8,100 dogs trained, my passion remains the same.

Whether I'm working with a young puppy, a stubborn adult dog, a dog with behavioral challenges, or a future service dog, my goal is to help each dog become a confident, well-mannered companion while building a strong relationship with you as the handler.

My philosophy is simple: Training should be fair, consistent, rewarding, and enjoyable for both the dog and the owner.

That means the person you speak with about your dog's training needs is the very same person who will personally train, handle, and work with your dog throughout their program.

Your dog will never be handed off to an unfamiliar trainer or someone who has simply completed a short course and received a certificate.

With decades of hands-on experience, specialized training, and a genuine passion for helping dogs succeed, I personally oversee every dog's progress, address their individual needs, and work directly with you during your going-home training session.
