PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Mind Your Manners Apprentice Program (MYMAP) has been designed for the individual who has the talent, drive, and desire to become a professional dog trainer. Mind Your Manners Is owned and Operated by Mancini, Mancini is Certified in:

* Guide Dog Training
* Wheelchair Guide Dog Training
* Clicker Training
* Wheelchair Service Dog Training
* Therapy Dog Training
* PTSD Training
* Balance Mobility
* Service Dog Retrieval
* I am Trained and Certified Internationally
The program includes academic study, observation, and participation in actual training sessions, Learn Dog training, practical dog training projects, and a significant amount of practice teaching people how to successfully handle, train and relate to dogs.
GRADUATES
Graduates from the Apprentice program will have sufficient skills and knowledge to assist, train and run Mind Your Manners in a paid capacity. Apprentice graduates of the Assistant level will have demonstrated sufficient skills, ability, and knowledge to begin training dogs and instructing Clients. Upon completion of which, they will be able to train dogs, learn all types of dog behaviors, train service dogs, and teach clients to understand their dog's behaviors. This is a great opportunity for someone who has been wanting to train dogs, learn and make a career but doesn't have the $10,000 that costs at schools. REQUIREMENTS
To be admitted to the MYMAP program, a candidate must meet the following pre-requisites:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be approved through a faculty interview with MYM staff
- Have your own driver’s license and transportation
- Have your own health insurance
- Have no felony convictions (be able to pass a criminal background check)
- Have the physical capability to handle any dog of any size, even large, unruly dogs
- Have excellent people skills
- Must be able to attend 3 times a week
- Have a genuine love and respect for dogs and the want to learn dog training
